Schleich 14847 Vulture

The vulture from the Schleich® WILD LIFE theme world is a fully grown griffon vulture. It occurs throughout Europe, North Africa and Asia. The bird of prey prefers to live in open landscapes and in mountainous landscapes with steep cliffs and ravines. It has reddish-brown plumage, black-grey wings and an almost bare neck with a collar of white down. Vultures are very important to the ecosystem. They eat dead animals that could otherwise spread disease.
